shhhh...RA, the sun god might hear you. Stop asking these types of questions... lest ye anger RA!

Don't you realize that RA will cast all unbelievers to the TOMB of 10,000 SNAKES???

Why run the risk? Bow to him NOW while you still have the chance!!

Does this tell anyone something? Evidently not in all too many cases. Astrophysicists are much more intelligent than average people, so their opinions are more likely to be correct. Average people don't and cannot think much, so they just blindly accept whatever nonsense they were taught when they were children, and that usually includes indoctrination in religions. My siblings and many of my cousins blindly believe in the family religion and that it's a sin to even question it or to explore other religions. I got the same routine, but it didn't work on me. I questioned and doubted religion at age 7 or 8. As time passed, I learned more reasons to doubt it. My IQ is much higher than the rest of my family...so who is correct, the astrophysicists and me with superior IQ's or people with average to low IQ's?

I'm not sure your numbers are acurate regarding astrophysicists, but the general idea that they are represented by atheists in much greater proportions than the general population, or even the scientific population, is held out by statistics.

The simple answer is, they have knowledge the rest of (most of) us don't. Namely, that god is not necessary to explain existence, and the idea of a creator actually contradicts what we know.

God scoffs at the "wisdom" of men. When we say there is NO GOD we a basically saying that we KNOW without doubt KNOW there is no God. Only God is omiscient ,knowing everything. So when an astrophysicist says there is no God he makes himself out to be God. Wow! What an ego rush!

Reference? I used to want to be an astrophysicist until I took physics. Astronomy actually convinced me further of God's amazing knowledge of how to create worls.

Approx. 98 % of Banana pickers are catholic.

About 77 % of Tea Plantation owners are Taoists.

Nearly 55 % of Pepsi Cola shareholders are Masons!

That is what is REALLY going on!

As l see it the only thing to get you to believe is a book written by many authors, but nobody knows who they were, zero first hand recounts of events, and no historic accuracy at all.
