Most Beautiful- Queenstown or Wanaka
Best city - Auckland and Wellington.

Definately christchurch, it is very English with is beautiful old buildings, the river avon meandering through the city and at this time of year covered with daffidols. The views from the Port hills are awesome, right across Chch to the snowy Southern Alps.You would go along way to beat that. People in Chch also seemed to take a great pride in their gardens....... beautiful

Auckland

Wellington (Wellywood) is pretty cool. Very artsy. Great houses and public transport great food and is really multicultural fun city with heaps to do like listening to great up and coming bands and seeing NZ film premiers. However the windy weather can be a pain in the butt.

Queenstown, hands down. Absolutely no comparison, although Christchurch is quite nice as well.
