OK, I know that they wear white robes and play golden harps (I mean COME ON...I'm not STUPID) but I was wondering about a few things.

1. If a demon tried to sneak up behind me and Possess me, could a guardian angel single-handidly Foil the demon's dastardly plans? (or would the angel need help from other angels or jesus?)

2. Sometimes I get the feeling that it's foolish to believe in invisible angels and devils... Is this because demons have attempted a "coup de tat" on my brain, thus condemning my wretched soul to eternal damnation?

RW: Are you a spiritual guide who can lead me to the path of holiness or a False Prophet who is attempting to lead me through the gateway to the macabre, where hellish screams and ghoulish souls torment my very soul?

secondly, no, angels don't wear white robes and play golden harps per se....

in most cases your own will as a human being would be sufficient to keep such entitys out.

but also remember that there are huge varietys of demons and various powers and intents and such... its not nearly that simple, because there are some that would need a much bigger production to "deal with" than others.

without more information its hard to say exactly what your situation is, but it sounds and "feels" to me, like that feeling is quite normal for the circumstances. (sometimes feeling its foolish, while other times it being painfully obvious)

my instincts give me the impression that you could use some psychic self defense type training, and could use learning some other skills, as well as some guidance religiously and spiritually.

Christians in all periods have derived much comfort from the Biblical teaching that there are powerful spiritual beings who serve God by ministering to His people’s needs. The powerful angelic beings of the Heavenly Assembly do God’s bidding and execute His will. They may be sent to:
1) prevent evil
2) execute His wrath against His enemies
3) discipline and correct His people
4) act as God’s army to protect and fight for God's people
5) fetch his people home to heaven

Angels are spirits. Although normally invisible to mortal eyes, angels are able to assume bodies and appear as human beings so that they can be mistaken for ordinary people.

The Bible speaks also of angelic beings as authorities that stand behind nations and states. In the Book of Daniel, the malevolent angel called the “Prince of Persia” was defeated only after Michael came to assist the messenger angel that God sent to Daniel. Paul refers to these malevolent spirits as archai (principalities), exousia (authorities or powers), kyriotes (dominions) and thronoi (thrones). These evil spiritual powers
have been dealt a fatal blow by Christ’s work at the cross and by the existence and activities of the Church. However, they remain operative in the world through the “sons of disobedience,” and
are actively led by Satan, who is described as “the prince of the power of the air.”
Satan or Lucifer is the chief of the fallen angels and is called many names in Scripture. He is called “Satan,” which means “chief adversary” because he opposes the cause of God and the people of God. Other names include the “Devil,” “Accuser of the Brethren,” “Belial,” “Father of Lies,” “Murderer,” “deceiver,” “enemy,” “evil one,” “tempter” and “the prince of the power of the air.” All the names given to Satan tell us something of his character and activities: he opposes God; he accuses the saints; he lies; murders; tempts to sin; etc. All his energies are directed toward one goal:
to oppose and thwart God and the work of Christ. To accomplish this, he does the following:
1) he engages in deception, and disguises himself as “an angel of light” and his minions as “servants of righteousness.”
2) he blinds the minds and hearts of people so that they will not understand the offer of salvation in the Gospel.
3) he hinders the advance of the Kingdom of God in everyway he can.

Demons are servants of Satan. The New Testament record occasions when people are said to “have a demon” or to
“have an unclean spirit” or to be “demonized.” These are all expressions of demon possession or demon oppression.
Manifestations of demon possession or oppression may include:
1) Physical ailments (blindness, lameness, deafness, convulsions, paralysis, etc.). But Jesus Himself showed that not every form of illness or incapacitation is to be attributed to demon possession or even to sin.
2) Anti-social or bizarre behavior
3) Self-destructive tendencies
4) Unusual physical strength

The best and surest way to avoid demon possession or oppression is to have the Holy Spirit indwell you through genuine conversion and from thence, walk in the light of Jesus Christ.

I pray this helps you.

ONLY YOU can condemn your wretched soul to damnation by rejecting the LORD JESUS CHRIST.
