I don't think you should be on a diet under the age of 18 because you are still growing and need sustenance to feed your bones and muscles. Why do you need to be under 10 stones? Just cos your friends are? You're tall for a start so you will always weigh heavier because there is more of you (height wise I mean). Take up a sport and eat good fresh foods, swap snacks for fruit and eat lots of vegetables. Foods should be healthy and close to source, remember if you have ot open a packet to get to it, it's probably processed nd full of rubbish. lean protein chicken, ham, beef, eggs, tofu Salad (any greens) Jacket or boiled potato Pasta Rice Lots of fruit - any kind you like. Some bread - but choose wholegrain and seeded varieties. do not eat Crisps, chocolate, pop - even sugar free pop, chips, pizza etc etc any more than once a week as a treat. Good luck and don't get so hung up on your weight!!! I did that at your age and went on to suffer from years of eating disorders. Kez x

You ll notice it mainly near transformers and power devices.
It is for Fire safety purposes The crushed metal [stone]acts as a sieve and drains the oil in the transformers .If the oil caught fire in the first place, the pebbles will act as a screen and 'quenches' the oil falling over it by draining it deeper in to the stones /metal.
In some places they lay the 'grating' or steel gril as floor, and then lay the stones over it.beneath the grating will be an oil drain which will isolate the leaked oil.

that is infact very good question, i dint know this then i asked my dad who's workin in a power station.
reason for small stones
To prevent vegetation, coz when vegetation grows it causes corrosion of base of structure, n corrosion is what they really dont want
Not only stones but they oso put cement or concrete to prevent vegetation.
theres no question of animals being around coz all the area of power station is fenced, so its not at all matter of concern

its used to avoid the problem regarding the loss of insulation level
as the power sub station are generally of large capacity safety is the first concern.
second thing in rainy season it might be dangerous for operator to the X'mer if it is in watter logged area while with stone noramally water will drain through minor gaps and will make system safe.

keep dust down, drainage for storm water, keeps surface in good shape. Gravel is commonly used in many places such as utilities and other municiple places. Basically it keeps everything nice a tidy. No weeds, no puddles, no dust, no standing water.
