I'm doing research for a book I'm writing. If you were/are a pregnant teen, how did you tell your parents and what was their reaction?

No body will love you more than your parents, so telling them is a good idea, Most loving parents will do a lot of crying, yelling and even threatening, but when they cool off, they have no other choice but to help their little girl.

i was in a relationship with this guy at 17 v love each other more than anything in life. Though v r not in touch now bcoz of my parents but i still love this guy like anything v used to have sex regularly and one day i came to know that i'm pregnant.I was very afraid and tensed abt my parents b'coz they were never to acceprt this then finally v decided to elope,run away. v made arrangements and i ran awy frm my house but trust me frnd matters went worst and they finally got to know.I realised later that i shud have told them on face anyways now everything is back to normal and i'm with my parents.their reaction was like y did u do that to us?y didn't u die b4 letting us know?

But they have always been there for me and they at that time also were then i had a abortion.My worst day of my entire life.I wish i cud have died...............

I didn't tell them. The doctor did. My mom went into immediate denial and my dad went into the garage and cried for hours. It was the worst day of my life. I had never seen my dad cry before then.

i left my test results on the chair in the living room...i'm still not exactly sure what the reaction was cuz my grama was so upset she and her mother began yelling a bunch of stuff in portugese
