According to history, Zorro was a major prophet of the Zoroastrian religion. He was well known for spreading the word of God. I'm in good company! I have to do research for an essay on my nickname. What do you make of all this? Have you a nickname (not necessarily from Answers) that means something?

I didn't know that about Zorro. What was his real name, I wonder. My sister Frances is named for St. Francis, who loved the natural world, in a time when Christians were abhorring their physical selves. St.Francis was a cool dude.

The Pope did not declare Zorro a saint.

Zoroastrianism is the name of the religion and philosophy based on the teachings ascribed to the prophet Zoroaster (Zarathushtra, Zartosht). Mazdaism is the name of the religion that acknowledges the divine authority of Ahura Mazda, proclaimed by Zoroaster to be the one uncreated Creator of all (God).

( it is probably the unknown God that Paul appealed to when he preached to the Greeks)

My nickname is Aramaic for Rock. Aramaic is the language Jesus spoke. Kepha means rock. In the Aramaic bible in the original language, Jesus says, "You are Kepha and on this Kepha I will build my Church..."
Find an Aramaic bible and see it for yourself. Matthew 16:18

Just checked Wickipedia(what a weird name for an encyclopedia anyway)and here is the word on the big Z:

"He was created by pulp writer Johnston McCulley, and first made his appearance in The Curse of Capistrano, serialized in the pulp magazine All-Story Weekly in 1919."

My middle name is for St. Lucia. I was born on her feastday.
