I don't think that is a religious question. I don't know why there is racism in the world but I do not believe that the Bible promotes it in any way. I think it's just that some people are so self-centered they think everything about themselves is the best including their skin coloring.

As long as people have hate in there hearts there will be racism, it has no meaning people just want to judge other people by a race other than there own to blame life's bullshit on.

For some strange reason people fear things that are different, for god's sake, we all bleed the same color and feel the same things, hopefully one day there will be no such thing as racism :)

Bad immigration policy from governments. They allow too many people from one country to come on instead of a mix of countries. In the US, you have a large group of Mexicans. In Canada, there are a lot of Chinese. In Britain and Europe, there are Pakistan's and Muslims. This creates a rapid loss of sense of community in the current population and ethnic ghetto in the immigrants. The governments need let in a mix of people from a variety of countries and makes sure that their are resources in the community to handle it.

A pioneer in psychology, Carl Jung, said that prejudice againt a dark skinned person is a form of projection. The person projects the darkness of their own inner selves onto a person, thus depising him/her.
Or was that Freud?
Don't repeat psychobabble at parties, nobody likes a know-it-all.

Dont you see people, man made up a God that looks like himself, not in the ancient caveman times where men worship the sun, moon, trees, fire and all kinds of stuff.

men feel the need tocontrol other men. if you can use their race or religion to create a stereotype that will reduce them to less than men then it is easier to get others to follow your belief and force control of the oppressed race.'
It is hard to kill a man,
it is easy to squash a bug.
racisim turns men into bugs in the eyes of the racist.

We are tribal animals just like our primate cousins the apes. Apes recognize members of their group or tribe mainly by smell. Humans use appearance or race to separate each other into groups or tribes.

a lot of it is what we learn and perceive as children. If we are taught prejudice at home that's what understand to be true. If we are taught to respect and love the individual by who they are and not by their or culture that's what we understand.
