Allah means God.
what you mean by that horrifically capitalized-decapitalized word, is a hebrew word that is the true, actual, literal name of god. as in, what gods actual, real name is.

the hebrew word consists of 4 letters, and is more properly called the Tetragrammaton. part of the issue, is that this word in its known existance, simply has no vowels at all. and theres a large number of possible vowels that could be used for that combination and order of consonants, and would all be pronounced differently, and since we do not KNOW the correct one, at least in jewish beleif, its inproper to even attempt to actually say it. since for all intents, you cannot get it right.

this was also, in the lore, a profoundly powerful word, as one might imagine... and even in temple times, was only said in public, during a very specific ritual on yom kippur.

now of course another question is if the "one true god" that islam belives in, and the so-called "one true god" that christiainity belives in, and the "one true god" that judaism belives in, are indeed the same entity or not. which is of course, a much larger question.

but in theory, indeed, all 3 religions do belive that they share the same single all encompassing deity as their god.

also remember that the koran is to the christian bible, (an additional books, from a later contributor/group about a later person, than the previous book) as the christan bible is to the jewish bible.

and I am pretty sure Bahhai faith is a similar offshoot of islam, as islam is an offshoot of christianity.

Allah is the name of the creator of the universe, it is one of 99 names revealed to us (humans), those names doesn't include Yahweh (Jehova). the name Allah is the same name used by arabic christians and jews when refering to the creator of the universe.

When Abraham asked God who should he say sent him God said to tell them "I Am sent you" I have heard that Allah was a name of one of the Gods the Jewish people worshipped when they mixed with the people they were not supposed to.

Allah equates with the title of GOD. Muslims will have to agree with this. They have no 'personal' name for God.
however, YHWH or YaHWeh is Almighty God's PERSONAL name. Almighty God is HIS " title" but His title is not his PERSONAL NAME. YHWH translated to English is Jehovah...as near as we can get.
(Exodus 3:13-15) Nevertheless, Moses said to the [true] God: “Suppose I am now come to the sons of Israel and I do say to them, ‘The God of YOUR forefathers has sent me to YOU,’ and they do say to me, ‘What is his name?’ What shall I say to them?” 14 At this God said to Moses: “I SHALL PROVE TO BE WHAT I SHALL PROVE TO BE.” And he added: “This is what you are to say to the sons of Israel, ‘I SHALL PROVE TO BE has sent me to YOU.’” 15 Then God said once more to Moses: “This is what you are to say to the sons of Israel, ‘Jehovah the God of YOUR forefathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob, has sent me to YOU.’ This is my name to time indefinite, and this is the memorial of me to generation after generation.

A separatioin of TITLE and NAME.

(Exodus 6:3) And I used to appear to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as God Almighty, but as respects my name Jehovah I did not make myself known to them.

Again a separation of TITLE and NAME.
