My ex gf and I broke up because of her drug addiction and self esteem issues. During our separation she would write me and tell me I was the best thing she ever had and knew she would never find someone like me again and she was missing me. Then after 4 months of separation she called me at 3 am and wanted to come to my house and talk. Well we did talk and she wanted me to give her another chance and that she wouldnt screw things up again. We have been back together now for 6 weeks, remember we broke up on good terms while still in love and thankfully there has been no signs of drugs in her life so far. I am working hard to be supportive in her dealing with her low self esteem as well. Here is my dilema. Since we have gotten back together we havent had sex. We used to all the time, alot. She has always liked alot of sex. What do you think could be going on this time with her and the sex thing?

Perhaps her being off of drugs has lowered her sex drive or she just doesn't feel like it.

Might be a good thing. Her self-esteem problems might have caused her to want sex to keep you, believing she had nothing else to offer.

The sex drive might be lessened because she's figuring out that she's more to you than just sex and is becoming a whole person in her own mind.

Also, her being clean might be exhausting. Remember, now she's dealing with the self-esteem issues without chemical help. That's a big thing. She's in transition right now. Give her time to even out.

Could be a self esteem issue. If woman don't feel good, they don't feel sexy....then again it could be just the opposite. Either way, if you touch her just right and take it slow, I'm sure she'll open back up to you. Talk to her about it. let her know you miss that sexual contact with her. Don't make it seem pushy, but more loving.

Maybe the drugs heightened her sex drive and now that she appears clean she is not into frequent sex. Have you talked to her about this matter? Talk to her and be patient. She is probably working through her struggle to stay clean.
