We have a president quick to war. We are not a peaceful society. Everyone can be screened under a microscope-yet aliens get free medical. The rich r moving their assetts overseas-there go the jobs.
The deficit was balanced until this new recruit, now it is hay wire.
Are we going to be the next 3rd world country with the rich bailing out? What easier way to move out. than to move your assetts out first???? Why do people have to struggle to pay medical bills when those here illegally get it for free? My childs survey report---of which listed benefits of "farm workers" and "poultry plant workers" suggested free lunches, free medical, free food, free translation, etc. What about the citizens who work at the poultry plant? Medical is taken from their pay, if they work more than their 8 hour shift--they will be offered a piece of candy-executives hoping they will not pass out???? We need a government that looks out for the tax payers and legal citizens of this country. Neutral!!

I really felt sorry for all the Americans when Bush was appointed President by your Supreme Court.

Now I feel like the rest of the Europeans, "how can Americans be so stupid to vote this brain dead man back into office".

You reep what you sow.

Plus worse of all, Bush has made the world a complete nightmare to travel for people of all countries.

You never know when some terrorist will blow you up while you are in or outside of your own country because of him.

Do you vote in your local elections? state elections? national elections? Do you educate yourself on the issues beforehand? Do you lobby your state and federal congressional representatives - they all have web sites if you do nothing else? Are you active in your community? Are you doing something to make a difference about the things you feel adamantly?

GW Bush and the christian right infiltrating their religion and version of "freedom" into our governance is the biggest problem. I never supported this war and have always felt the funds could be spent much better on our own country in positive healthy ways. I do not see the problem as providing minimal basics to illegals that our economic system exploits. I see the problem as wasted money on an out of control war machine. I do vote and lobby, by the way. If you don't then look in the mirror because the problem starts there. If you do, then I'll raise a glass to you even if our politcs are different.

List of things wrong:

1 abortion
2 legalized tobacco while marijuana is illegal (tobacco causes lung cancer - marijuana doesnt - Washington D.C.)
3 Pornagraphy
4 high prescription prices
5 curfew & blue laws
6 feminism
7 Its funny how the US views other countries are tyranical. Look at the Netherlands, they have legalized marijuana and the citizens there can buy so much a day from stores. You dont ever hear of the Netherlands being involved in wars or going through hard times do you? The US is very much like a prison while waving a false flag of freedom. The government allows us to smoke tobacco and get lung cancer, but we cant use marijuana for medical purposes because it might make us feel good and the gov is against that.....

I pity you going through life always seeing the glass as half-empty.

One answered "Apathy" and he or she is absolutely right. The only way we can change things is to study the politicans who are running for office. See what you like about them and VOTE VOTE. I've heard that only around 50% of the population votes.
That means we are only getting 50% consideration for these policiticans and that's bad.
Times are really critical and we all need to VOTE.

Stop cribbing. you are in a democracy. It may be sometimes demo crazy but still it is the best. Alternatives are Chinese way of party rule, middle eastern monarchies, or Cuban type popular government.
Wait for the next turn, elect the best one.
