Why would you want to call someone a s-? It would serve no purpose. It's not a matter of being "socially acceptable". It's a private decision for each person to make.
Only a narrow-minded man would suggest that there would be a different number of acceptable partners for men and women.

In the movie Mr & Mrs Smith the husband said that he had 50 sex partners and his wife thought for a minute and said "312." When he went from a self-satisfied smile about his number to a look of horror at her number - she said "well sometimes there were 2 or 3 at a time."

I don't think the number should be any different for a man or a woman. I don't necessarily think it makes a person...a $%@! as you say. Prehaps, just really sexaully free spirited or someone who makes bad intimate decisions. However, Let's put it this way, if you have to lie about it than that means you are ashamed and that's not good.

The realistic basis of being with a real man or woman is that number is 1 - that is right one - That one must be who you really truely love and want to be with and would never do wrong in any way what so ever and who you'd want to spend your life with through thick and thin , bad and good etc.
Thus when I mean truely love I mean you and her must really love and trust and be understanging truthfull faithfull comided and devoted to him or her only no one else matters no matter what type of temtations that are out there.
That means no deceiving or deseption or any other thing such as cheating at all no matter what this must come from both sides both male and female man and woman it does not matter who you are.
With out that and with out excepting the person for who he or she is from with in and no I do not mean from whats beneith the clothing -What I mean by the (from with in ) -I mean that you and her must except the person for who they are Emotionaly & how they feel etc its not a sexual thing at all what so ever.
with out that plus many of the other Positive emotions and feelings you have nothing and with that nothing you have no true basis of any sort of why your with him or her thus with that said useing one another both male or female is not the logical way to go and you might as well be paciant and wait til you find the one that you and can be truthfull etc to u as well as you would be to her. That may take some time or possibally more but its better to be paicent and to take it slow and take your time cuz no one wants to be hurt in any way emotionaly or other wise at all so do not rush in to any thing that would later end up hurting you or her or both emotionaly if not more then that as well as Phylogicaly etc. With that said if you do all of this and many other of the Positive things you will have a long and happy life and marrage with the one who you will be with for life.

No such number for a man (it's socially acceptable to for men to sleep around). For a woman, depending on local "community standards", I'd say from 10 and up a year.

I don't think it matters how many, just the time frame between each of them. If you have had sex with someone a year ago compared to having sex with someone 2 days ago and 12 days before that and 4 days before that, then because of those short time frames, that makes you a slut.

the following interior the u . s ., 2/3 of the states have dropped common regulation guidelines or are phasing them out via ameliorations in what states require and the actual undeniable reality that one of those massive volume of issues get up in courts over those arrangements. i imagine it truly is getting more advantageous common to assert "stay-in better 1/2" or merely better 1/2. interior the united kingdom, i'm no longer confident which direction they are heading in as far as attractiveness of common regulation.
