I don't know exactly what you're looking for--- History, IN does not exist. If you're looking for Brown County B&B's, the most well known "street" of B & B's is in Nashville. However, having said that, the 1875 Homestead (about 5 minutes away from downtown) is absolutely fantastic. Super comfortable beds, great scenery and VERY private!

Brown County is great and I always enjoy strolling along the cool shops and just taking in the country feeling. Abe Martin -- is the guy who is famous for supposedly living there -- he is like Brown County's answer to Johnny Appleseed.
The Story Inn is what you are referring to and it is very nice -- albeit a bit pricey compared to any number of equally nice places all through that area. No need for a reservation either -- just show up and take your pick.
If you like listeiung to dulcimers there is a cool music shoppe that I always go to first that sort of gets me in the Brown County mood.
John Mellencamp's recording studio is not far from Nashville Indiana -- it is located on a side road in a very small town called Belmont. You can't miss it on the way from Nashville, Indiana to Bloomington and there is only the one side road so finding Mellencamp's studio isn't real hard. He once filmed a video on the lawn of a small church right on the corner of the side road where you turn.
Enjoy it -- I am jealous that you get to go there.

Are you referring to Story Inn in Story, IN ?? It is a famous little B&B and restaurant (GREAT blueberry bread pudding!). It is very secluded, but worth the visit. Very quaint place!
