Did you ever read the Bible, did you ever read how Mosses commands tons of people to get stoned (beated with blood pooring because of stones), and mosses commands children (their just kids) to be killed with a bloody stoning.

Is this the God we know, and worship or is this BS?

If a good loves to torture and kill people why should I worship a god of fear?

Shouldn't we worship a god that has overcomes hate, jelousy, war, and other negaitive emotions, and has unconditional love?

Have you also Embraced by the Light Book?
Have you noticed it conflicts with the Bible.

In that book it says when you die angel/s will greet you and when you go to the light then Jesus will greet you, then instead of the whole God will kill you, torture you, and punish you for your Sins,
Instead you get a life review where you will feel what you did to somebody, and feel what others felt. She feels god is a loving man that forgives.

So do you think god is forgiving God?

God is who and what you perceive your God to be.

It's that simple.

He isn't evil and doesn't love war, but he does say in the Bible that he is jealous, and he is filled with wrath at sin. He is also perfectly just, meaning sin is punished where it is found. He is also loving, forgiving, and merciful, meaning he made a way for the humans he created to escape the punishment that follows sin and be reconciled to him.

As much as we may wish him to be, God is not in a neat box that we can understand perfectly. There are many facets to his character, more than we can comprehend. And justice, wrath, love and mercy do coexist within him.

Many religions worship gods of fear.

Some people make up the kind of god they want in their minds:

I'm telling the truth you will know that for certain.
I have God in this box. The creator in carton.
He must stay in here and do as I desire.
If I let God from the box more of me might be required.
...
What? How dare you say.
You can't talk about my God that way.
In the box He has limits I keep them small like me.
Outside the box I'm afraid I can't control what I can not see.

I believe that the God Christians preach about is an evil murderous thing.
My God doesn't need to forgive anyone because whatever you ar today, you are perfect in His eyes. Everyone has a purpose, even the ones we call evil. It will all be explained in the afterlife.
Try researching other religions and make an intelligent decision on your own. Christians can't be trusted, they pick parts of the bible they agree with and ignore the rest.

that's what i've never understood. so many wars have been fought for some god, and so many people have died because of that. people kill others in the name of their god. the world is ****, people are miserable and alone...so why isn't god saving it? all those people who are miserable and alone want someone good to believe in. they want hope that there's something better after this world, and so if believing in a compassionate, forgiving, and loving god is what gets them through, then i think it's a great idea. i don't see why we have to debate on whether he's good or cruel. we'll never know if he even exists. it's only what you choose to believe that will make you the happiest.

God is the same God today, Yesterday, and Tomorrow. God will judge people for their actions. We see examples of this in both the old testiment and the New Testiment. It says in the Bible that we will be judged for every word spoken, every thought that we have, and every action we enter into. This is for Everyone regardless of your current belief on earth. If you think their is no God and you are accountable only to yourself it makes no difference you will still stand before Him. We also see an incredible revelation of Gods grace in that He sent His one and only Son into the world to save the world through Him. His name is above every name and His name is Jesus Christ. We have been given an opportunity to accept His Grace, and His Mercy, but it is dependent upon our response. So ultimately God has given us an opportunity and we are saved by grace through faith. But it is important to know that you can not have faith without action.

I think god is forgiving.

I don't think he could want hate while wanting good.

I mean really god and evil don't do good together. You can't love while hating at the same time.

Do not fear god said Jesus. Love god, worship god, and he will not start Israelis into war

Be careful about trying to make God look like a bad guy.
God is jealous, and God is merciful, and forgiving. But blasphemy is a great sin. The ways of God are mysterious to man.

He is all of those things. But fortunately through Christ's sacrifice we live in a dispensation or time of grace. A limited time in which God has given us to acknowledge Him and follow Christ. When that time or dispensation is over He is returning as a Man of War and will take His vengence out on Satan and his minions and all who have rejected Him. It says the blood will run up to the horses bridles. I like this grace deal........

I believe the latter option.
I don't know about the "Light Book," but Jesus clearly revelaed a God who is compassionate and loving.

God is a jealous God,, he tells us,, not to have other gods before him,,,, he wants our whole being commented to him. God loved us enough to send his son to die on the cross for our sins,,,,, now I call that love unconditional.
