i'm having my 21st birthday party this saturday and it's a joint party with 2 of my guy friends .. problem is .. they r also good friends with my ex-boyfriend and of corz they want him to come .. i dun mind him comin however he told everyone that he wont come unless i call him personally and invite him to come ..but i juz think its sorta weird if i do call him bcuz my now bf is goin too ... should i invite him?

I believe you should do what your mind and your heart says. If you have a new bf and think it my cause problems then you need to let your guy friends know so they can invite him and if he still refuses to come unless you invite him personally then to bad for him. He'll be the one losing out not you so good luck at your party. Have a great time.

That's a tough one. But if you are in a big group of friends and the ex and your current boyfriend don't have anything against each other, simply explain the situation to your boyfriend. Maybe even have him call rather than having you do it. It says alot about you to know that you are conscience of your ex's feelings. Check with your current boyfriend. If he is cool with it, call the guy up. No way I would go to an ex gf's party unless she personally invited me and I knew she was cool with me being there. I think he is just trying to avoid being rude by showing up at a party to which he was not formally invited. Smart of him.

I think you should invite him, at least for your friends. I know you have a boyfriend, but wear something sexy, and make him(your ex) jealous. Just so he can see what he is missing out in. Good luck!

Oie... tuffy if he really wants to come... ask his friends to invite him and let it only go that far... you don't owe him a invite... or just mail one to him... sounds kiddish... but that way your b/f doesn't freak b/c you were on the phone with the ex.... and if he doesn't come... those 2 friends should get over it... if they don't come, oh well .. more cake for you:) good luck

It's not weird, uncomfortable, yes, but not weird. He probably just wants to hear from you personally that you are okay with him going, and he wont be ruining your birthday but showing up. So call him, tell him he's more than welcome, have fun, and get drunk!!! Happy 21st!
