i don't believe that listerine can replace flossing~ i wish! flossing is icky! but my teeth and gums sure do feel better when i do it regularly .. my gums feel healtheir and don't bleed~ flossing physically removes food in those areas b/w your gums and teeth, that a swig of mouthwash can't~ i try and do a ritual of flossing, brushing, and mouthwash ;P

Not at all. Listerine just makes your breath smell better and can remove loose food, but flossing gets between your teeth in a way that no liquid, including listerine can.

No, definitely not. Listerine can't get foods that are stuck in between your teeth.
I don't floss but I use an Interplak. It's easier than flossing and keeps your teeth cleaner too.
My formula? Brush, Interplak and then Listerine.

Sorry, the hygenist told us to floss, then brush and finally, follow up with Listerine. She said that the other brands weren't nearly as good, so keep that in mind. Still, all three steps are very important.

You still need to floss. Listerine does not get in between your teeth.

you need to floss, because flossing dislodges food that is caught inbetween your teeth, Listerine is good for killing bacteria, but you need to get the food out. Recently I found at wal-mart a dental pick for sale in the floss isle and it works great only cost about 4.00 and much easier to use than floss.

Still have to floss. Listerine only kills bacteria that can cause plaque. Food can still rot inbetween your teeth if it gets stuck there. The only way to get rid of it is by flossing.

No no no no no. Flossing may actually help avoid cavities between your tooth and save more than a number of dental artwork and money later. a aspect word on Listerine. i have been making use of it for years, commonplace, and my dentist (2 weeks in the past) instructed me to change to Crest professional well being. via the indisputable fact that's alcohol loose, that's a lot less stressful on your gums. i imagine i love it more advantageous acceptable :)
