if there was a world war going on right now what would you do?

would you enlist, leave the country, object to a military draft, or something else? i know that i would leave the U.S. and go to Canada because i have Canandian citizenship and just sit this one out. and i am not an American citizen so i can't possibly get drafted

There is a world war going on right now. The multiple players are forming their coalitions and cross factions. What remains is how the game will play out.

Well, I'm 50 years old. I am staying right here in the USA, because I'm too old to enlist and have no interest in being deemed an enemy combatant.

I learn all I can, and work to make sure that our politiicians do not compromise our civil liberties at this time. I have several friends and family fighting for USA in the middle east.

It is not likely to be nuclear. USA has too many powerful weapons we don't know about, but I have seen the results in Afghanistan. As far as going to Canada, due to the great circle, longrange missiles fired at the USA are likely to be shot down over Canada before they reach the USA.

All I can do is be prepared, and give my friends and family fighting overseas moral support, so that they will not waver when they are in a position where people are trying to kill them.

China is the real player. Islam is just a patsy for the overall goals of China, and won't last much longer unless enough rational Muslims put a stop to the terrorist activities and insist on Israels right to exist.

There is a World War Going on. And lots of people are enlisting to fight that war. This war started like so many do. Not on September 11th. But in 1979, when radicalized Clerics overthrew a legitimate government. If you think for one minuite that Canada is not in the crosshairs. Well then you should really watch the news and get off the computer.

hmmm, last i checked if there was a overt world war with ACTUAL countries fighting a convential war, Canada is going to get hit too, especially in the mineral rich areas cuz who is the U.S.'s largest oil importer? thats right canada. and you dont have to be a citizen to be drafted, in most states if you sign up for a driver's license, ever gotten a student loan, any gov't job you signed up for the draft, sorry but you did and if it was really going down guess what the canadians and the brits are going to resort to some way of strengthening their militaries as well.

and if you thought going france is going to be safe too, sorry did you not hear that an Algerian based Islamic terrorist group, and Al-Qaeda joined in an war against the french. well if you can go hangout in the south-east asia dont go to Malaysia, Phillipines, or Indonesia, they are already state department warnings in some parts now, not to throw in a world wide open conflict with nations and open ideological fighting it out

Unfortunately, the next world war will involve a nuclear exchange, how could it not. When the super powers square off against each other, then we'll be in a world war.

Until then, we're only seeing regional conflicts, proxy wars, war between rump states, brinksmanship, and wars of liberation and freedom.

In the first 30 minutes of a nuclear war, nearly a billion people will have been vaporized, mostly in the US, Russia, Europe, China and Japan. Another 1.5 billion will die shortly thereafter from radiation poisoning. The northern hemisphere will be plunged into prolonged agony and barbarity.

Eventually the nuclear winter will spread to the southern hemisphere and all plant life will die. You ask what i will do when WWIII starts, you are asking what i will do when we commit global suicide. My answer is to pray that i'm vaporized in the first 30 minutes rather than die a prolonged death.

I wouldn't leave the country for a World War, as if anyone could ever touch where I live, but if our government continues this crackdown on freedoms and liberties, then I am completely prepared to disappear into the freakin' jungles of SE Asia.

I wanted to enlist when the World Trade Center was hit. I don't think they're enlisted 47 year old women with two kids and a bitchy attitude. If I were younger, I'd enlist.

I would put aside my civilian life for a time and go to end the war, as limited as the current conflict is I don't feel my services are that necessary yet. Canadians of your stripe shouldn't be too proud of hiding behind the US fighting men who have kept you from having to face the big scary world.

I already served.... and, there is a world war going on.... RIGHT NOW... Islam vs the non-Islam world.... or haven't you kept up... maybe you should just go back to Canada... sit it out... like the French.... Muslims are coming to a country near you... SOON... oooops, sorry.... they are already here... and they have been making their presence known by thousands of Muslims demonstrating in some of our major cities with signs proclaiming "WE are Al Qaida, WE are HERE..."

The war is already underway, all you have to do is look... well, you do have to see what you are looking at..

If there was an actual world war going on right now, unless you can make it across the border in 20 to 30 minutes, you aren't going to make it before the missles hit. And when they do, it isn't going to matter where you are because you will be dead or dying.
