Your beliefs are your own. Regardless of what they are, stick with them.

By dent it do you mean question it?
It doesn't matter what they practice, it matters what you think is the best spiritual path for you. As for myself, I was a christian, then turned to Wicca, as I found that was the best thing for me. Your dads spiritual path is Pagan, and it would definitely be a good idea to learn more about it so you are not marred by ignorance. That will also probably bring you and your dad closer. I think its always a good thing to learn what you can about all the major religions of the world so that you learn where other people are coming from. As ignorance is where hatred lives, and is good to erase it before it starts. Also ask your mom about what she used to practice, as that will give you more insight into the Pagan world, and bring you closer to your mom as well. Hope this helps.

No !
Spiritual faith is a personal choice and all personal faith should be respected.
You may be aware of the wiccan/pagan rule "If it harms none do what you will". This creed also applies to all faiths if you think about it.

If someone is a pagan can that diminish your faith or you as a person? It doesn't, for the same reason that christians cannot diminish our faith.

why would someone else's views effect your religious or spiritual beliefs at all? even if they are your parents, they are separate people from you. if what you belive is what you belive... theres simply no reason for it to be shaken by anyone else. I think a better question for you to ask yourself, is about your opinions, why would this fact bring any questions about your beleifs at all? are you sure thats what you really feel is so? or is your current beleifs in rebellion against theirs?

I think its amusing that some seem to think this stability only can come from christianity, or imply that if it was the other way around, you SHOULD be shaken. which is quite silly. its profoundly arrogant to think that any one religion is an absolute truth that is right for everyone, and it simply isn't so.

if pagan and/or wiccan is right for them, and christian is right for you, so be it. theres nothing wrong with questioning your own, or others's religion. if the religion is right for you, then there should not be any fear in questioning it, because it will prove to be right, for you, if it is indeed right for you.

don't belive in something because your afraid of the alternative.

"Fire Insurance" faith is no faith at all, remember that.

No, don't let your fathers or mothers beliefs hurt yours. I am a pagan personally but if my son was to be christian than I would support him fully. I think you should sit down and dsicuss the diferences and similarities of yours and your parents beliefs. Your spiritual road will not be exactly the same as your parents because you are your own person, just remember to respect your parents right to worship as they see fit, and don't close your mind to to new views on religion or spirituality. Blessings to you and your parents.

No, lots of pagan parents give birth to christian kids. Sometimes I think its sort of a type of rebellion against the parents belief system. You know, the super christian parents give birth to a kid and then they end up becoming a pagan or vice versa.
I wouldn't try to push your beliefs on them. They are to the age where their beliefs couldn't be changed unless they did it of their own free will.

No, but what I'm going to say is a little different than a lot of the other people that answered this.

Your parents aren't going to change you, so just let them be, and they'll do the same to you.

No way..presss on brother...do not let this stop you from your faith in christiananity...by all means Pray for the repentece of your parents past life and hopefully with faith and prayer, they will come to know the Father themselves, thus an eternity in the kingdom all together one day...also your parents spiritual sides purpose and plan from Satan is to destroy ur faith, but overcome that with the power of God and you will have Satan under your feet....

No. Beliefs are very personal. My son is Christian and he was raised by Pagans. Stay strong in your faith.
