6 month apart follows scripture.
... How do you come up with John's birthday as a basis for your claim???
Your claim is without basis, but SO IS DECEMBER 25TH. BOTH ARE LIKELY WRONG.

I know about the 6 months difference between John and Jesus.
I do not know when John was born.
I know that Jesus was not born on December 25 but rather in the springtime because that is when the shepherds would have been in the fields at night.
Knowing these things I do not fight against Christmas celebrations because I think the better use of energy is to get people interested in actually reading the Bible. There are so many things taught in so many churches that are NOT biblical.
I first read it from cover-to-cover in 1992. I was going through a really difficult time and the Bible was the only place where anything made sense to me. It was so good that I read from Genesis to Revelation in 90 days.
Now I read a Bible from cover-to-cover every year. (This year it is The Daily Bible in Chronological Order.) Like you I want to be ready like the 5 virgins who had extra oil for their lamps.

Scripture is clear about the six months between ages of John Baptist and his Cousin Jesus.
We also know that Dec 25th is a symbolic days of Honoring the birth of Jesus.
Since we know that the shepherd's were in the fields/pastures with their flock- we can est that sep or oct at latest (due to winter)
would be the correct time of Jesus's birth.
The date is moot.
The real point is Believing in the GOSPEL of Jesus Christ.
We aren't saved by days
nor religion nor any Church nor any person except
JESUS.

6 million, and more JW's know that John was born in the Spring & Jesus was born 6 months later, in the fall.
“The early Christians,” states Professor Ferguson in his book The Religions of the Roman Empire, “did not celebrate the birthday of Jesus; it was unrecorded.” The Bible does not give the exact date of Jesus’ birth. Furthermore, it indicates that Jesus was born, not in the cold, rainy month of December or January but in a warmer season. How can this be said?
About the time of Jesus’ birth, the Roman emperor Caesar Augustus decreed that subjects travel to the city of their birth and get registered. The Bible reports: “All people went traveling to be registered, each one to his own city.” Joseph and Mary traveled over 70 miles from Nazareth to Bethlehem. Would this have been practical or possible in the cold, rainy December period?
But that is not all. Concerning the time of Jesus’ birth, the Bible adds: “There were also in that same country shepherds living out of doors and keeping watches in the night over their flocks.” (Luke 2:8) This description does not fit Israel’s rainy month that corresponds to our present December—a time when temperatures in the Bethlehem area can drop very low.
There is another important point. If Jesus wanted his followers to celebrate his birth, why did he not instruct them to do so? With respect to the day of his death, he outlined a simple celebration and commanded: “Keep doing this in remembrance of me.” (Luke 22:19) Jesus gave no such instruction regarding his birth.

You would have more credibility if you gave some chapter and verse here.
Also I don't know of any church that gives the exact day of the birth of Jesus.
Furthermore
"But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only."
- Matthew 24:36
This means that Jesus does not know the day nor the hour of his own return. Something is not right here with your prediction.

Chris, the question you've posed is one many mature Christian believers have carried before GOD by their prayers. between the various gratifying truths we've received are proper the following: (a million.) the technique of GOD for mankind must be modern and temporal, and is meant for created beings and residing creatures by the universe of GOD. announcing this yet differently, the revelation of GOD is non-stop, eternal, and ongoing, and takes position in uninterrupted ranges that practice and elevate from aspect to point those who've understanding. (2.) The sending of prophets grew to change into an ingredient of covenant relationship the day GOD spoke the regulation from Horeb, and the individuals in terror, petitioned that GOD ought to communicate to mankind back in reality by making use of human brokers such as Moses. See Deuteronomy 4: 5-20, Deuteronomy 5: a million-7 and Deuteronomy 18: 15-22, KJV. (3.) There are various examples of magnificent births (childbearing by making use of barren women) before that of John the Baptist; and John is to be considered interior the custom of the choose Samson, the Priest/Prophet Samuel as well because the Prophet Jeremiah. absolutely the authority and sovereignty of GOD over judgment, existence, lack of life and salvation are all signaled. See Jeremiah a million: 4-9, KJV. (4.) Jesus is spoken of because the “in reality begotten” interior the understanding that he's an visual attraction or incarnation of GOD in human flesh, and isn't by making use of fertilization, mitosis (cellular branch), and human reproduction. The beginning of John is by making use of the operation of the Holy Spirit by and upon flesh, at the same time as the beginning of Jesus is by making use of a deposit of divinity from the Holy Spirit interior flesh. Mary, the mum of Jesus, were really chosen, prepared and set aside for divine provider as new child bearer and caretaker. there's a lot more advantageous to be stated, wisely utilized, and spiritually apprehended. (as an instance, (5.) understanding Jesus changed into baptized by making use of John, many who're no longer yet mature of their understanding ask, Who changed into John taught, anointed or baptized by making use of? interior an analogous way John changed into born into the priesthood of Levi, he changed into born to be the herald to the dominion of heaven in Jesus Christ.) in spite of this, I believe this fragment will be functional. Be it unto you in accordance on your faith. THE BLACK PHOENIX Washington, DC

yeah i know that a long time ago, because our parish pastor used to tell us that (when we were still in choldrens bible studies) and that christmas is just a reminder of us that we should be reminded of the great deeds that god has given us.. eternal life.. its not important anymore because as long as you belive in god he will always be with you.. no matter what even if you don't or forgot his b-day.. but i think thats a good topic though.. If God wanted everyone to know when his son was Born he would have said so. And it is not "exactly" 6 months, it's around 6 months. We don't know exact anything in that time period.
