Teaching? Do you like children? What about social work? What education do you have? Maybe you could go back to school? I guess I don't know enough about you to say but... you should think about what people have complemented you on and build from that.... Do people say you are a great organizer, creative, a good communicator, or are you great with helping people emotionally. Think about your strengths and what you love doing in your free time.... What makes you happy. Simple questions like that will provide you with the best answers... way better than anyone here could suggest. We just don't know you like YOU do :) Good luck. Ps. I admire you for the work you do!!

There is nothing I can tell you about it...

Taking Engineering to an Engineer is as hard as Law for a Lawyer. What I mean is: you will do whatever you want, there's no advice. Please, please don't do the crap most people do: "My boyfriend is a Philosopher, I'll be a Philosopher too."

Watch TV, look some magazines... you'll find what you want at the very moment your heart beats from the pic you see.

I'm gonna tell you what hapened to me ten years ago. I went to visit a nuclear power plant with my high school group. The guide was talking about the Compton effect as I saw a 8ft deep pool full of water, and in the bottom, the nuclear fuel surrounded by a blue light ring. the guide explained that was the Compton effect, electrons moving around the reactor core at the speed of light. That day my heart started to beat for a dream... and now I just started Masters in Nuclear Engineering.

Now I wish you good luck. I hope you make the very right decision.

Have you thought about office work? You are obviously computer friendly and most are willing to train. Maybe even apply where you are working now. Let them know you want to change positions. Although I think clerical pay in group homes may not be as high as other business offices. Good Luck.
