Country Dinner Playhouse. Buffet dinner and a show. I live in AZ, but make sure I go there every time I go to Denver to visit family.

You may have difficulty booking the party this late, believe it or not. Many companies have a standing booking from year to year. Start with your company budget per person for food alone, then call the swankiest restaurant you know of close by and find out what their cheapest per person is. You will get a good idea from that what class/kind of restaurants your budget will allow. Then, either take a poll of some of the workers - where they would like to go, or make a list from the phone book. Don't forget hotels. They have restaurants too, and if your party will serve alcohol, they have the added attraction of having a place for over-imbibers to stay.

To have a cheaper and to produce more food stuff for the party, better use your office. Arrange the tables and chairs in such a way that you can have space for dancing and parlor games. Decorate your room with balloons and ribbons and Christmas lights, too.
