Fate = Destiny refers to a predetermined course of events. It may be conceived as a predetermined future, whether in general or of an individual. It is a concept based on the belief that there is a fixed natural order to the universe.
The problem of free will is the problem of whether human beings exercise control over their own actions and decisions. Addressing this problem requires understanding the relation between freedom and causation, and determining whether or not the laws of nature are causally deterministic. The various positions taken on the problem therefore differ on whether all events are determined or not—determinism versus indeterminism—and differ on whether freedom can co-exist with determinism or not—compatibilism versus incompatibilism. So, for instance, hard determinists argue that the universe is deterministic, and that this makes free will impossible.

I'm not quite sure what the question is asking but I think I have an idea for an answer.... If it's what's the difference between fate and free will?
If you take a piece of paper and just start drawing one long line looping all over untill the page looks like squiggles are all over it, you notice that the line has to cross over itself in lots of different places...part of the reason for that is fate..it connects and crosses because it has to, it was meant to. The other part is free will, where it crosses paths is directly related to where you chose to draw the line, and in which direction.
Life is the same way, everyone has things that are meant to happen (fate) but those things are influenced by decisions we make ( free will) things happen because they must, it's just a matter of when and where they happen that make the difference.

Fate means you have no control over what happens to you. Free will means that you decide what to do instead of being forced by someone else.

free will is your decision to do what pleases you.
Fate is what happens as a result of free will.
hence you can change fate if you control what you do with your free will.
