if you're willing to buy a decent camcorder, and fork over $400, the Sony DCR-HC46 is a good investment.
don't buy it from sony though.
look up 'profeel video' in your browser search and you will find a good online store that has a good price on this camera. i got this very camera for a total of $380 plus shipping.
