I mean it's fine little baby hairs but if you are up close they are darker then the other hairs on his face and are rigth where his mustache will be when he is older. It is so cute and he's had it for year or two that I have noticed.

He's half white and half Puerto Rican so maybe thats part of it. He does not have darker hair anywhere else and he is not part freakin werewolf you retard. I am not going to wax his lip either...I already Nair between his eyebrows...lol.
Please note my son is not a hairy beast, I said that you can only see it right up close.

i've seen it on me brother n he's only 11 months! he has alot of facial hair but has more where a mustache should b

Is your son overweight, or does he have any other abnormal things, like breast tissue? If so, it could be a hormonal problem.
That being said, I do kids' school portraits for a living, and I've seen plenty of kindergarteners (especially darker skinned races) with little mustaches. Even girls. It could also be that the hair there isn't really darker, the skin is just lighter.

I have no clue. It sounds interesting. I think it does make sense that his facial hair is thicker/darker there as that will be where his mustache is in the future.

possible that itis just what they call peach fuzz--some boys haveto been known to have it around their private parts by the age of 5---its nothing to worry about
