i want them to call me intelligent, or see something more in me rather than my physical looks, if some guy starts telling me im beautiful and does not see my deeper thoughts i would instantly tell they guy to go away
is this right? for men am i too weird

yea i mean the way that you explain it, well i mean it really makes sense. i mean that is great that you think that way i mean that's well great. but i mean it is kinda weird that you don't like that cause most girls do but i mean that's also good that your not like most girls. i mean i totally agree with that appoarch stick with it, cause the guy that you want to come and say what you want will be there someday.

the reason most men dont comment girls on being intelligent is because they have false pride and would feel inferior if they were the first to yell you that you were intelligent rather than you telling them they were, it's the way of life, but no you're not weird, my concern though is that you may have expectations of how people perceive you, and naturally you want them to see that you're smart, or you're insecure about your intelligence and you feel the need for some compensation either way it all goes back to your expectations, the only person you can expect anything from is yourself, and you'll let yourself down plenty of times, so why would you waste your time hoping that someone else sees you in a light that you want to be shown in??

I wish someone would call me handsome once in a while. It really is a good thing to be called beautiful.
Don't hate on men because they recognize your outer beauty. I'm sure enough of those men would comment on your inner beauty if you gave them a chance to see it.
Also, to a lot of men, like me, the deeper nature of a woman seeps through to the outside and complements the physical to create a true and complete "beauty".

NO!! I fell the older we get its not so much about looks anymore..(don't get me wrong good looks matter)..but i think it's more about you and what you really need and care about and if he can't see your intelligent then that you are also beautiful he is not the right one.....remember you have all time in the world and when your not looking is when you find that true love.....hope it helps!

I agree with you, but I still like to be called beautiful but it makes me feel weird and I dont tell someone to go away for that though.

If you look anything like Jessica Alba or Adriana Lima, don't be turn-off by guys calling you beautiful because its true and all guys appreciate beauty. Be proud of your beauty! but not cocky.

well....from my point of view, no it's not right....BUT .........most men do look at a WOMAN's physical beauty......as for me...i look at a woman's eyes.....if i don't like what i see in the eyes......i walk away......i read peoples faces and eyes......i am a married man...have been for 27+ years...i fell in love with her eyes, ....kind eyes , means a kind hart..... a woman's body can and will change......the eyes....never change

it sounds like you yourself have issues with your outter appearance. IN the sense that you distrust anyone who would think you're beautiful because you do not believe it true in yourself.
