well, i think it might depend on your state possibly.... i know where I live (minnesota) it wasnt required but i took it anyway (dont quite know why exactly) but anyway, if you get college credit for the physics class, take it for sure because it would DEFINATELY be worth it. i made the mistake of not doing post secondary and i kick myself every day for it because all my friends are in higher classes than me now, and they're all going to graduate before me

Does it provide evidence of you taking a hard course? Yes.
