my boyfriend asked me to the movies, but my parents say no 1 on 1 dating.i really want to go to the movies. what should i do???

well, you didn't give out much info about your boyfriend. if you are just a new couple, then maybe your parents have a point of not allowing you on a 1 on 1 movie date. but if you 2 have been together for a long time, then maybe you could assure your parents that you 2 won't do anything other than watch a movie. maybe it's just an assurance that they need. you need to talk to your parents regarding the matter. another thing, you didn't mention how old you are, maybe you're too young for dating that's why they didn't give you their permission

First of all how old are you? If you are still living under ur parents roof then you should follow their wishes. Listen I know kids think they know it all or you may really like this guy and think he is it.....BUT remember one thing, there is NO one in this world that will look out for YOU FIRST, love you more, or want the best for you. At times it seems like they are ruthless but they were once your age, and you dad is a man, he knows how a guy his age thinks, give ur parents some credit, respect their wishes.

Cry your eyes out because your not going to the movies. I'm your parents eyes while they're away and you better not go because I'll let them know you went. You have people on your street making sure you don't go to the movies with that boy! Believe that! You better not go!

Just invite some friends to go with you guys. If your parents are putting limits like that on you, you're probably a little young for serious dating, anyway. (Unless you're 16+.)

alternative, ask the b/f over for a video date at your house, after your parents get to know him, they may allow it next time

Find some friends to go with...even if you dont all sit together...lying to your parents is a bad idea....and you'll probably feel shitty about it also...
