Women think on a different level than men do. We are more sensitive and critical of ourselves, while others just want to find fault with anything....sorry. If she is worth your trouble and time then learn from that one case and next time say "I love so many things about you, but this one just sticks out right now" or if she isnt worth your time just dont compliment her or put it back on her and plainly tell her "cant you just say thank you when i compliment you?" if she is mature enough that alone should knock some sense into her and make her realize she is being petty.

It is not necessarily immature. I am in my late 20's and engaged and my fiance has said he likes my ***, and I asked him is that all he likes about me.It is not necessarily twisting it . We just want to know if we look good in general. We don't mean anything buy it just keep your attention on her and she'll know it to, but if you aren't grown keep it at a minimum. I know you are if she is a girl. Ain't it bedtime.

because u need to prove it.
You see some gurls cannot trust guys like me fer example.
I have been let down and lied to most of my life so I cannot believe in his words.
Tell her you love her and when she says bla bla bla bla just repeat it.
I eventually start believing it slowly but like alwayz everythin tat has a beginnin has an end so i end up feeling stupid anywayz.
and sometimes they say it cause they want to hear it again and again because wen we say no it means yes unless shes like yelling.
Just be patient and if u really like her, dnt let her go.

A lot of girls disguise insults within complements and may assume that you do the same.

Hmmm Most likely, the girls whom you happened to tell these compliments are overly suspicious.

Eh, I always did that. I guess it's a lack of self-esteem or something. And no, we are not all "bitches." I'm a nice girl. :(

It comes from immaturity and it is not "Love" by any stretch of the imagination.
