A few foods are as high in healthy fats as avocados. In fact, very few fruits or vegetable offer much in the way of healthy fats- most of the calories in fruits or vegetable come from carbohydrates. Exception include olives and avocado. An avergare avocado contains about 290 calories with approximately 27 grams of fat, only about 4g of which are saturated ( the bad fat). Avocado is also low in carbs (15g) and protein (3g). Since most of it's fats are mono- and polyunsaturated, the avocado has a good fat profile.

good fat!!! nobody in the 80s and 90s understood that there is some fat that is good for us. fat actually helps open the cells to allow insulin to use up the energy in your cells. most people think that insulin regulates blood sugar (and yes, it does) but that's not its primary purpose. the primary purpose of insulin is to get energy out of the foods we consume. fat is essential to a good diet, and the fat found in avacodos is an EXCELLENT source.

good fat. it unclogs your arteries, if it's clogged. which it usually is by a little bit. but to answer ur ques, it's all good fat that does ur body good!! :-)

its natural so its good.....but it doesnt mean you should eat 1000 of them.....everything in moderation is the key
