would St. Peter let me out, or would I have to go A.W.O.L. later that night?

Yeah you'd probably go AWOL but you could ask if there was a secondary location where everyone wasn't kissy faced sweet and singing all the time...like a local pub where you could have a beer, sing dirty songs and tell off the wall jokes with some real down home folk.

I want to be where the "B Team" is too.

St Peter has nothing to do with who comes or goes. That is another fairly tale. The Lord Jesus Christ died for your sins and if you believe and trust in that then you will be in God's heavens. The only other place there is to go is hell and then the lake of fire after you are judged. Reject what the Lord Jesus Christ did for you and you will be in hell and there is no going awol from there either. 1 Corinthians 15: 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1 Corinthians 15: 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Yeah.... reminds me of a post i read in another question also hehe

- if THAT heaven is filled with people who kill and harm the masses just so they can gratify their carnal lusts for 100 virgins.. I don't want in.

-if THAT heaven is filled with judgemental people who condemn others just for not making the choices they did - I don't want in

-if THAT heaven is filled with War-Mongering Hateful discriminating people - I don't want in

-if THAT Heaven is filled with disrespectful people who criticise, belittle and castigate the cultures and beliefs of other - I dont want in

-if THAT heaven is filled with hypocrites that point the finger at the faults of others, but make justified excuses for their own in the name of "divine" -I dont want in either.

I would like to go to the Heaven that Great Mother Teresa is in.
I would like to go to the Heaven that Peaceful Gandhi is in
I would like to go to the Heaven that Noble Rev. Martin Luther is at
I would like to go to a Heaven where Heroines and Heros of Justice, Equality and Love for all beings go.... The Heaven where people are joyful and kind, the heaven where humor is high, the heaven where peace and happiness presides and every night is a party Without discrimination and hate.... now THAT is a heaven i want in.

:)

And I doubt many "religious" individuals with obsession and zealotism will even see the pavement of much less arrive there...

well, there are 3 places that a being can go according to Christian beliefs, A. Earth where you start, B. Hell C. Heaven. So you either go to Hell and be tortured, or Heaven and be tortured. I'd stick with Heaven cuz the music may be annoying and you sure as hell ain't getting any tail, BUT it still beats a hot piece of iron shoved up your *** in Hell.

I don't believe in pearly gates, or a Heaven. But I think that if it is what they say it is, you should be allowed to walk out at your own time.

try reading Job: A Comedy of Errors, by Heinlein. A truly unique look at the whole heaven/hell fiasco.

What if ya made it to the gates of Hell and decided it wasn't for you? Do you think they'd let you turn back?

You would be a fool, but you would still be free to choose to leave the presence of God to spend eternity without him if you so desired. But then again, you're choosing that right now, aren't you?

No way....you're stuck with your decision forever. Start practicing the scales....there'll be lots of Hallelujas...an eternity of Hallelujas.
