They didn't "come" to earth. They were created on the newly-created earth by God.
As for years? Who really knows? Why does it matter so much?
That there IS a God and that He created us, the earth, and rest of the universe, is far more important than how many years ago it was. Proving whether it was 7000 or 700 billion will not change the fact that He exists and that He cared enough to create us to be His companions and friends.

If you are writing about et haAdam and his wife Eve which were created on the eight day then it would be somewhere around 5950 and 5990 years ago. The sixth day creation of man and woman is another subject.
You can get all this information for yourself by studying you Bible. Its all in the volume of the Book.><>

No one really knows. Adam and Eve could of been on earth thousands of years before They ate of the fruit. It doesn't specify a time, or how long they were in the garden of Eden. Before they ate of the fruit time was endless. After they ate, they both started dying and that's when years came into effect. It does however tell the time from when they ate of the fruit. Which is about 6,000 years
