First you need to figure out when you started feeling this way. Some people might tell you that its just satan trying to pull you away from God, or that you are just being shown all of your sins. Well that is not it at all. There are a couple things that it could be. One would be is that you are not concentration on the right thing. You think that if you read the bible, you will be a better christian. That is WRONG. Just concentrate on talking to God and build a relationship with him like you would anyone else, by talking. Another reason could be is that is not the right spiritual path for you. I do not believe that ANY religion is the only true way to God, if it were, many people past and present would be going to hell just because they never heard of Jesus. No, God wants a relationship with everyone, and has made many paths to Him. It is not about doctrines, or prophets, or books, its just about the relationship. One good thing to do is to learn about all the religions, that will help you in the future so you are not ignorant, and don't develop the hatred that a lot of christians have for other religions since they do not understand their beliefs. I hope you come to a place of peace. Do not concentrate on what you have done, you cannot change the past, accept it, move on, and do what you can to make sure you live a better, more fulfilling life.
Blessings )o(

It can take a while for the joy and peace to be more tangible. Also, being a Christian doesn't mean you'll never have misfortune or feel down.
I'd suggest getting involved in either or both of a Bible study group and a social group within a church congregation. This will help you learn more, and give you the much needed feeling of belonging.
Welcome! Email me if you like!

Hi, I just prayed for you. When we accept Jesus, it makes the other side mad and Satan attacks us to discourage a new believer into thinking that they made the wrong decision.
This is what is called spiritual warfare. Be encouraged, "Greater is He that is within you, then he who is in the world."
My advice, tell a Christian friend, relative, or your Pastor, what is going on. There is strength in numbers. Become active in your church's activities, find a Christian radio station and surround yourself with an atmosphere of praise, and stay busy and don't dwell on the past because now you have a blessed hope. Hang tough. Grace and Peace!

Congratulations. Now that you have accepted Christ as your Savior you will notice may more trials and more trouble than you did before. The more you read the more Satan will want you loose from the hand of God. Don't give up, I find it helpful to have a prayer partner. If you can't find one I would be happy to help.
Good luck, and stay strong. Being a Christian is not easy all of the time.

This one is a little tuff just because I feel for you so much I don't want to let you down . Be patient it's only been 3 days . remember prayer is talking to God and he is your Father so talk to him as such poor out your heart let him know your pain and concerns. If you ask him to help you with this be ready to be amazed. he is so ready to give you all the love and knowledge you can handle. Be sincere ask him to help you feel his presence when you pray and that you want to understand his word when you read it. and not just "oh yeah I see what that's saying" but that you want to feel the power of his word and the Spirit revealing the truth to you , like a blind man recieving sight. and don't forget to tell him you want to learn patience so you can accept his teaching on his time not your own. you should also ask him to find you the scriptures he want's you to read when you do that and trust that he will , you'll start to read and maybe nothing so you move on even to another book and suddenly you'll find it and you know it because it feels like God is speaking directly to you. You better have a box of tissue cause the tears will start flowing because in that moment it's no longer someones words telling you God loves you but it's him by answering your prayer. Because in all these prayers your'e telling him it's me your 3 day old child and I need you to hold my hand as I get to know you better. I hope this wasn't to much , one more thing before I go ask him to lead you to a good bible teaching church if you havent found one allready.

In John 14 Jesus told His disciples before He was going to be crucified that He was going to leave them. He told them He would not leave them orphans but would send them the Comforter, the Holy Ghost who is the Spirit of truth.
The Holy Ghost (the Spirit of truth) has many different functions. He points you to Jesus. He reproves you of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He leads you into all truth. He teaches you all things, brings to your remembrance all things Jesus has said, and He tells you of things to come. (John 14:16,26, John 15:26, John 16:8, John 16:13)
God is dealing with your heart about something. That is why you are feeling bad. Keep praying, keep reading your Bible, and keep seeking God. God probably is dealing with you about something that is not right in your life. In time God will let you know consciously what it is so that you can make a decision to do what He wants you to do about it.
Read John 14 through John 16. Jesus makes you promises, He tells you how to pray, what He expects from you, how He deals with you, and etc.

pray continually says paul in his first letter to thessalonica (5:17). prayer is not just an emergency "911 call" to God, to be used only as a last resort when the going gets tough. prayer is a continual conversation with God , in every circumstances, in all the situations that arise in daily life. persistence in prayer is a hallmark of spiritual maturity.
it'll soon go away, don't give up. God loves you and he won't let you down.

You need to talk to God about your feelings. He knows what is going on and can help you. Be careful about living your life by your "feelings." They can be misleading. Instead, focus on passages of Scripture that tell who you are in Christ. Keep asking God to show you the truth. Find a strong Christian who will listen to you and give you encouragement and perspective.
God Bless.

I don't read the bible at all, I've read it before, and sometimes I feel awful. Talk to someone. Sometimes you can't feel better all by yourself. You need help from others, whether it's a spiritual person, a therapist, a friend or family member.
