For the people who can't comprehend, I'll explain his argument.

Every time someone is "healed" by a "miracle" it's always something that they could have recovered from on their own or from medicine. "God" never heals something that couldn't have healed without the miracle such as an amputated limb. Does "God" just try to stay hidden? You have 2 choices. Either "God" doesn't exist, or he does exit, but doesn't perform miracles. Both of these prove the Bible wrong.

"Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son; if you ask anything in my name, I will do it."

"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."

Why hasn't God done this or that? I'm not sure what you are driving at. Why is it necessary for a sovereign Creator to heal amputees, vs. cataracts, or high blood pressure.

God does what He does. Does the clay ask the potter, why have you made me this way? Maybe you need to explain your question more.

When you are amputated, the little part of your soul that lives in the limb shrivels up and dies and can't be restored, as it goes up to heaven (or hell) to wait for the rest of the soul. This why angels no longer come to earth, because they are all entranced by the dancing freak show of disembodied limbs up in Heaven. Of course John Wayne Bobbit was able to get his thingy back, because a couple of the head angels said to throw it back. You can guess as to the reason(s) why.

Ummm I don't think it's in the job description. I wish it were, as well as the complete healing of crushed bones and broken hearts would be nice....Zeus is more into lightning and vengence on humans for aspiring to be godlike, not the most nuturing of the gods.

the kingdom is of the spirit. the flesh is unimportant.. how are we to understand everything god does unless we are gods too. since this isn't the case i must admit that i cannot know, but must simply accept. besides, some people find amputees sexy. isn't it selfish of you to take away their pleasure simply because you have a problem with life.

To challenge us to make cool prosthetics for them, of course. If everyone's limbs grew back, many people would be out of work. LOL

God doesn't magically make everything better in our lives. If He did that, we would have no opposition to push against, and we wouldn't learn anything.

We all are given situations we need to deal with, this is just a variation on a theme. Lose a spouse, child, or limb.

Well, if you believed in them, you'd assume he/she will, but in the next life. Maybe we'll all be healed then, and a lot less angry about stuff.

Why would he? Would doing so make you believe in Him?

"A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a miraculous sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah."
