A nuclear war (WWIII) will kill almost every human and the ones that do not die "instantly" will die horribly from all the radiation...

I am a catholic, though a lousy one, and I feel a tendency to believe it will be as written, but...
I also think we shouldn't quite read the Bible literally.
If you ask me, I think the world will end by natural causes, by God's intervention, but all natural, like the sun running out of hydrogen as every sun its class does, or changes on the planet's very nature.
Of course when we mean End of the World, we mean As We Know It. Which means, I suppose, the End of Humanity, rather than the World Itself. In that case, I think it would be like this: taking for granted we will survive both the wars we wage and the climate disasters coming as a consequence of our transformations:
1. The world will either shift its position thus changing the climate conditions we are adapted to thus causing our extinction, or the resources that we need (and are misusing) will cease, causing same.
2. Humanity will exist until the end of solar combustion, after the planet becomes too cold to sustain life.
3. Some weird cataclysm like a big comet will hit Earth, and Humanity won't be able to adapt to the consequences, just like its thought happened to Dinosaurs.
Now, if you think that isn't in God's capability, how come the question is located in "Religion & Spirituality?

Destroyed by fire.
2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar. Fire will destroy everything in them. God will judge the earth and everything in it.
EVERYTHING will no longer exist. The universe was ALL God's creation and ALL will be DESTROYED. TIME ITSELF was part of that creation. IT will also be destroyed.

my friend read 'Revelation' [the last chapter of the Holy Bible] it's all written there.
BUT
to understand the Bible in general you must believe fullheartedly in Jesus as your Lord and Savior,..sincerely repent fromm all your sins to him, and ask for the Wisdom from God to send you through thr Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will make it possible for you to understand,.......without those things I doubt you'll understand.
God Bless!

It will end when the sun extends to its orbit and swallows it.
Mankind will either have relocated to other solar systems by then, or will have perished.
