I've got a 2001 Kia Rio that I bought in crappy condition. I've got it fixed and now I'm looking to get all that stuff taken care of. The title is still in the previous owner's name (some crook from this local used car lot) and I need to get insurance (gonna get liability insur.), get the car registered, and have a sticker inspection done (expiring this month). Are there any other expenses I forgot to mention and how much would it all cost?

In most states, the dealer is required to put a fresh inspection sticker on the car before delivering it to you. The rest of the costs will depend upon your state (sales tax, registration, title, etc.) and your age and driving record for the insurance. You'll need to check with your DMV and insurance company to get the exact numbers.
