Any personal experiences? Do you HONESTLY & SERIOUSLY believe you can find love anywhere ... even behind a monitor screen?

I prefer to find boys at a book store, social events, at school or through friends.

i believe it... because i did.

i wouldn't say i found love "tough a monitor screen"... but i found someone who would become my best friend.. and then it just developed into something else, something deeper. but if it weren't for the internet, i never would have met him... and my life wouldn't be what it is now.

so yeah, i believe it, because i've experienced it.

I have a friend that is happily married (for several years) to a guy she met through the internet. Also, one of my co-workers has a daughter that is also married to someone she met on the internet.

I guess it works for some people, but I don't really believe it will work for me. With my luck, I'd probably find a nightmare on the other end of the monitor screen. lol

I believe you can find love of a fantasy, but not a person, through the internet.

I believe you can find infatuation through the internet.

I don't believe you can find love with a real human being unless you get to know the real human being and that can only happen in person.

My 2 cents.

I've never really though about that. Now a days people could lie about their age and many more things on the Internet. In my opinion no because it would be hard and will leave you wondering.

Only if they're honest. It's easy and tempting to lie over the internet to make yourself look better. I believe love has no boundaries, so yes.

I met my better half on the internet. we've been at the same time for 4 and a a million/2 years and have a daughter at the same time. i could no longer be happier. i will say inspite of the incontrovertible fact that, we did no longer get romantically in contact rapidly away, we've been on line pals for extra or less 6 months and then we MET in person and issues stronger romantically from there. i do no longer think of which you would be able to fall in love with somebody you have in no way met. however the internet for assembly a potential better half is notably lots comparable to hooking up in a bar.
