and then leaves the fiance for you, is that person trustworthy? can a relationship built on that betrayal work?

i have a friend who cheated on his fiance, broke off the engagement for the other woman, and they are now dating. wondering what the chances are of a relationship working under those circumstances.

i agree with what's being said; i also know that this girl went directly after the guy and actively worked to push the fiance out. if he's that impressionable, and she's that pushy, it might just last?

As the old saying goes: the way a relationship begins... is also how it usually ends ! Chances are therefore great , that the same way inwhich your friend & his new g/f found thier way into each other's lives ( and arms)... will more than likely be the same way that they break-up (by cheating & being untrustworthy).
I doubt that either would forget just how they met (by being cheaters). And with that in both thier minds just how much more should we expect that they will find it so very easy to be trusting of one another ? That alone might just be the true & ultimate downfall of thier relationship( never being able to be trusting e-nuff in each other). What a curse !! And serves them right , if u ask me.

Really can't say....but I guess it would be better to find out about the betrayal before marriage rather than after
