There are a ton of pits and pit mixes that are bred around here in NC for fighting, and if they are too sweet, then they are thrown out. It would be awesome to get your red-nosed baby and save a dog's life at the same time. Try your local SPCA and no-kill shelters, or

You might already know this, but "red nose" is not a type or variety of pit bull. It is simply a nose color. A pit bull is a pit bull.

Most states will have breed specific rescues. Go to AKC's website and they may have listings. Why does it have to have it's ears cropped?
