I did when I was younger, but my girlfriends son just did it with his freind and they cut thier hands so deeply that they both had to have surgery to repair their damaged tendons and ligaments, and both had severe nerve damage, and will probably loose some feeling permanently. Is that overkill, or what?

It's not a good idea to transfer blood with anybody else. Blood-born diseases can be spread that way. Not only that, you might have a different blood type than what they have, & that would probably kill you.

Definitely overkill and I might say, a very bright idea given the risk of disease and/or an infection.

that is definately overkill. When I was young all that we did was prick our fingers and touch them to each other. Of course that was way before aids. I wouldn't do it now for anything. They could have used their heads and tried a pinky promise at least that wouldn't have mutilated their hands. It definately isn't normal. Sounds like they both like to self mutilate. Sure doesn't sound like it was worth it to me.

I've never tried it but i want to try it now. For me it is good to have blood brother or sister with someone. But not to cut your hands so deeply, only few blood to mix is necessary.

yes i became a blood sister to two of my best friends but we didn't cut our selves that we had to go to the hospital. We did it when we were younger like about 5 years ago. It was fun at the time but i don't regret it one bit because they are like sisters to me so we became blood sisters.
