I had a 8x8 410+ bull elk walk under my tree stand a couple of hours ago!Today was the last day of archery deer hunt and tomarrow is the first day of archery elk.I'm not going to get any sleep tonight.

I wish you good luck...hope you don't have my though....if it were me I would not see that animal again until the day after the seasoned closed....Hope ya do well....I can't wait to get into my stand for deer....

He will most likely be in the same area tomorrow. Even if you spooked him away. I have walked up on big bulls only to find them in the place the next day. good luck.

well your lucky you got to see the one you want before opening morning and i comend you for not cheating and takeing him early . now you got the hunger pains that will push you harder and make you take that extra hour and do the extra work to see him in bow sight again . stick to that stand and if you must move just move a short distance dont leave that spot until he walks back in again and he will if he didnt sight or smell you . be sure you take care of your sent from here on he will be on his toes so you be on yours and enjoy the hunt itll be great pride when you get that second chance and you will.
