It depends on the girl and the guy.
They may be cute/hot/sexy and all that good stuff, but if their personality sucks, then girls dont like dudes in bands. I guess that's all I can say about that subject cause there isn't much to say about it.
I don't mind being "stereotyped" into chicks either. Just thought I'd let you know for the heck of it.

I know I do. But then again, I'm a musician too (piano/vocals), so I'm not really representative of the majority of chicks who like dudes in bands.

My metro-sexual boyfriend (haha) is a "goth" and he has been in a band for around 4 years. I guess I could say I like him. :) But I am not what you would call a chick. 15 year olds are chicks.

I tend to be attracted to men that have musical talents but it's not a priority it's just a nice perk. If they suck and they think they are good it's really annoying.
Typical "chicks" as you call them that like "band" guys don't seem to be worth caring about in my experience.

It's a flaw of mine, but any lead guitarist or at least one of the lead guitarists in a band is pretty hot.
Just so long the band is freakin' awesome.

I would say yes but in my case it is not just because they are in a band but if they have something interesting to say and are talented...and ok if they are cute too makes a difference...LOL
