Can anyone teach me some Sri Lankan Etiquette?

I may be travelling to Sri Lanka soon. Can anyone advise me of some Sri Lankan customs? Eg, what is unacceptable behaviour, what is a good way of expressing manner, etc. Thankyou!

Dunno much about Sri Lanka specifically, but I do know a common practice of Sanskrit/Hindi-influenced Asia is to NEVER hand over or receive things with your left hand--this is considered very rude because the left hand is traditionally the hand you use to clean after yourself in the toilet. Also, don't use your left hand for eating.
