It seems like it'll be a distinct possibility someday to get Christians to leave us alone.

In the streets, handing out pamphlets, "The Goddess loves you! May you take Her love into your heart, along with the God's, and find comfort and peace in the knowledge you will one day, many a eon from now be with them once more."

On the trains, "Mah people, Chaile-dren of tha Gods! May ya HEED mah words, tha END is NEE-YAH! If wea do not pro-TECT tha HOL-EH MOTHA EARTH, we shall all PERISH, by the might of all tha GODS!"

And, lastly, everyone's favorite, door to door, "Excuse me, Sir/Ma'am, but, would you like to live a better life? A life where whatever you believe can come true, with just a little bit of effort? Well, you see, if you'll just give me a moment of your time, I can explain to you the wonders and blessings of the Pagan religion(s)..."

Go ahead. Have a laugh. Stare in fear. It'll end up happening sometime.

Ignore them like I do with every other religious sect that tries to push their beliefs on me.

This is America. You are suppose to be free to do that if you so desire. I am kinda sorry you feel that way. Some people have become to corporate in there yelling at you. But, there is always a but. A true Christian is suppose to love you, no matter who you are and they are suppose to care for your eternal soul. If you saw a drowning child would you jump in and try to save them? I know I would. I have been bite by big dogs while trying to get a person clear of harm. Anyway, that is the way they are suppose to look at you, with love and not wanting you to suffer the pains of hell or an eternal death. Even the bible tells us to plant the seeds. Maybe not to hammer them in though. Anyway. I will pray for you tonight, out of love. If you want to preach, go for it.
God Bless you and yours

Christians who go door to door aren't true Christians. If you are a true teacher of the Lord you wont need to go door to door. There is a sad misconception about Christianity. When you are the biggest religion in the U.S.A you are going to have a lot of crooked people out there who are in it just to make a buck or are fanatics. The fact remains that Christ himself taught us to watch out for these people who call themselves Christians Matthew Chapter 7. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are raving wolves.

When most of the country claims to be christian a lot of those people really don't even understand the religion they claim to be. They never study their own beliefs and don't even have a clue what the Lord Jesus their leader even taught.

Even though Pagans are a minority in this country even that religion has people in it that either know nothing about it or are in it for ulterior reasons.

as a Pagan ordained Minister, i would ask them what their motives were, and why they were trying to make us look bad.

if someone wants to be of a religion they will seek out the people and places that will teach them about it. I do not fear christian persecution. But my religion is a Personnel thing, and that is what i teach my grove. we do not need to spread our beliefs because our beliefs will spread themselves to rational spiritual people.

people will begin to question the contradictions in the Holy Texts of the Christians and the Muslims. they will question the tactics that they have tried to use for world domination. and they will find their Way to a religion that they believe in on their own. just as i did.

if i were to go door to door as a Pagan priest, i would knock on the door and say...

"Hello mrs./Sir. My name is Christopher J and I am a Celtic Pagan priest. i have come here today as your neighbor to ask you if you would like to tell me about your religion and beliefs.
so that i may understand you and your customs."

Since this is a severe violation of the tenets of most Pagan traditions, I certainly hope not!
They would likely be shunned by the rest of the Pagan community.

I am a Christian, and honestly if I saw, or heard, a Pagan preaching I would ignore him/her or say "No, thank you." It's as simple as that...no need to be rude.

In fact, one of the main premises of Christianity is free will and choice. I choose Christianity, you choose Paganism...simple as that. One day we'll find out who is wrong and who is right. Until then, let's just get along.

P.S.-Who DOES like door to door religion salesmen anyway?

If I ever saw that I would be disgusted, horrified, and would promptly tell that person to get off my side. Pagans don't preach or push our beliefs on others...we're not about that, because we don't believe ours is the only right way. And besides, do you really want to drag yourself down to the level of the people who do actually do stuff like this?

Quite frankly I hope it'll never happen.

That's one of the things I like about Paganism, the majority do not believe in proselytizing. I'd be a little surprised to see such a thing occuring, but I'd likely treat it like I treat any other proselytizers, just ignore them.

I would mostly walk away and go about my buisness, just as I would do if I saw anyone preaching, I, myself am a christian and I believe that everyone has their own right to believe whatever it is that want to believe, but not to push it onto to others.

xD I find this amusing because it is against pagan law to preach. So that person is therefore, NOT a real pagan, just like those people on the streets. Yeah they're christian, but they are christian extremist more like.
