Awhile back my friend and I were IMming and talking about homecoming that's coming up. So I talked alittle about the guy I like..not alot..just alittle. So he knew his name. Then today he asked what's new and I said that I saw him today on crutches..and that gave it away!! He knos who he is know..he was in his class last year. He said he was gonna go up to him and talk to him since he knows I like him..So I begged him not to..but I can't really trust that he won't. Another friend already screwed things up and I don't want him ruining anything else. What do I do?!?!?!

Sometimes its hard not talking about someone you like to a friend. If you don't trust a friend, then maybe you need to be a little more choosy. If they go against your wishes, I would never trust them again. Some things just do not need to be repeated. Hope everything works out for you! Good luck

Go to the guy first, and tell him you like him. There is really nothing else. If he likes you back, he'll be thrilled. If not, then you can be good friends. Either way you win. But there is no point in being shy anymore. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain if you go for it.

Take a deep breath and take the high road on this one. If he talks, and the guy comes up and asks you out tell him that you're flattered, that you like him a little bit but truly want him to go with a girl who is truly truly into him . . . tell him that you respect him a ton but just don't want to lead him on.
. . . and by the way, it doesn't sound like YOU have the big mouth, it sounds like your friend!

There's really nothing you CAN do now (Except threaten to kill him. But if he told and you killed him, you'll be in jail). Learn a lesson from this and be careful what you tell anybody, especially this friend.
