what's a few unborn foetus compared to crashing a jet into the world trade center and killing thousands?
They(moslems) glorify and wage war in the name of Allah,
They wouldn't blink for a second while they are cutting of an infidel's head with a small knife.
so the moslem clerics couldn't care less about some foetus....

Stem Cell research does not always have to be conducted on deliberately killed fetuses, although that may be the case, and THAT should be restricted.

However, research itself per se is not against the laws, if the fetus was not required through unjust or wrongful means. According to the Islamic laws, it is not required to give a formal burial to a fetus that is less than four months old (the exact time may vary depending on which Madhab one follows). Many times miscarriages take place due to completely natural reasons. There are also means being developed to carry out stem cell research without using the fetuses (such as using materials related to birth, such as umbellical chord and placenta).

Research may be considered sacred study of the creation of the Lord Almighty, and studying nature and education was established both by the Quran and the sayings and works of the Prophet.

Thus, although unrestricted research may not be permitted, but blanket restriction on doing stem cell research would harm increasing the knowledge base of mankind. Many cures are hidden in this research as long as it is not done unfairly on killed fetuses. Islam usually takes the middle way, without taking the extreme positions.

I hope this answers your question.

Muslim clerics or scholars do not against with stem cell research
if the fetus killed before 120 days in the womb of a woman. In our holy Koran ,Allah the only one God spoke that Allah blew the spirit to a would be baby on 120 days in the womb.So before that time the fetus has no God spirit. In Islamic teaching after 120 days in the womb if it is killed will be determined as murdering. The mother would be punished as a criminal.

An unborn fetus is not a life. It has no knowledge of its existence.

Some will say, "An unborn fetus responds to stimuli! It's aware of its surroundings!" While it is true that an unborn fetus will respond to stimuli such as vibrations, a recently dead deer will, too; it only responds because of nerve cell activity, as a fetus does.

Stem cells could greatly increase the quality of life for people afflicted with diseases from all over the spectrum. Besides, quality of life is better than quantity of life.
