I saw a documentary on the first dog a while back. It was on the science channel or maybe another station. They believe that the first dogs could be from the dingos or at least a dog that looked similar. The dogs in America that are similar to the Australian Dingos are called Carolina dogs. Probably these dogs are found in North and South Carolina. I don't know if this is right or wrong. Maybe there is an American dingo, too.

The dingo is a feral Australian dog. I've not heard about them in the USA, but that doesn't mean they aren't here. People will cross breed all kinds of canines if the money is there.
