I cant imagine how coffee flavored ice cream would taste good. Starbucks is excellent in the coffee field, but stay out of the ice cream deaprtment, please.

Coffee ice cream is delicious! If you think about it, those frappacino things are practically milkshakes or ice cream anyway. People are right that Starbucks does not make the best coffee ice cream. Try gelato (italian ice cream) or try going to the ice cream aisle and choosing some brand you haven't heard of. Usually it will have a name like "organic farms" or "sunnyside dairy" or something cute like that, and the ice cream will be very tasty. But Starbucks ice cream is pretty good too.

Yes, I got a free sample dish one day when they were gviving it away for a promotion. MAN oh MAN, that was some good ice cream! And I don't like cold coffee drinks, but that coffee ice cream w/ chocolate chips in it made me have to hold onto the table for a minute.

It's actually quite good, but Starbucks is not the best ice cream. If you want really good mocha (coffee) ice cream, then I recommend Ben and Jerry's.
