Im not ambidexrous because I can't do everything equally with both hands, but I can write and eat with my left hand, and throw and roll etc. with right hand. Is that rare?

What you are talking about is cross-dominance, which is a little different than being ambidextrous. I'm a bit like that myself. Mostly right-handed, but I prefer to do some things left-handed and I can write left-handed without any problems.

I do not know if it is common but I know that I have been labeleled left handed. I write left handed but have found that I do most other things right handed. I cannot write with my right hand- I have tried. So I suppose I am not ambi-dexrous

It's not so rare at all. I prefer to do some things with my right hand, and some other things with my left hand.

Maybe you were born left or right handed and then your parents had you do the other hand instead, so you are forever the way your brain is mapped to be, but also able to use the other hand.

I'm left-handed when i write but do most other things better with my right hand so i guess the answer is yes....you can use both.

My experience is that it is not rare to have partial abilities in both hands. The typist uses both hands ... are all typists considered ambidextrous? I don't think so. However, typing requires developing the muscles in both hands and all fingers ... and they do this rather rapidly as typing speeds increase quickly with practice.

I play sports like baseball, golf and hockey left handed and can easily switch hands when seated for dinner beside my left handed daughter or brother ... God Bless! : )
