I have an interesting scenario I wanted to present to the fellas. This is not my story, but it did actually take place. Fellas, you have a girlfriend, who has several male friends...one of which she considers to be her best friend. Now, these two have a relationship just like two females would, with the exception of the obvious differences in body. Here's the situation. The guy moved out of town, and your girlfriend hadn't seen him in over a year, though they always kept in contact by e-mail and phone. So, he comes to town for the weekend. You know all about it because she told you. Well, her best guy friend arrives, takes her to dinner,&then goes out with some of his friends. He then comes back to visit your gf that night, and ends up spending the night because he was too tired to drive. Well, they end up sleeping in the same bed...it's just like a slumber party with two female friends,& nothing sexual happened. Would you be pissed? Do you have a right to be?

I actually have alot of guy friends just like you explained and we have slept in bed together and we slept that's it.......but if I was in a relationship and a situation like this arose, I would NOT sleep in bed with my guy friend b/c it would be rather disrespectful to my boyfriend.

She was honest in telling him about the situation, which is a plus!

How do you know that nothing took place? I think it's silly. Why couldn't he have slept on the floor? I have a hard time believing this. I'm not sure about being pissed. Ask her how would she feel if you had a female friend and ended up in the same situation? I, personally, wouldn't waste my time.

You see, women don't understand that there's no such thing as a guy-friend who doesn't hope or wish for something sexual to happen, regardless of her marital status or if the husband is in the same room. the exceptioon being that if she butt-ugly or decrepit. Usually when a girl has a close guy friend, the male will become territorial, no matter how much he likes her friend or his wife.

If I were a guy, I may or may not be "pissed," depending on whether or not I trust the girl. However, I would probably question my decision to be with a person who had so little respect for me that she willingly put herself in an inappropriate and compromising position.

Hell, yes! And I would ask my ex-girlfriend to move out quickly. Being best friends of opposite sex doesn't include sleeping in the same bed with the b/f in the next room. It doesn't include sleeping anywhere together. Period.

I would be a little ticked but you have to give the girl credit...she didn't lie about it. She kept the relationship open to her boyfriend. Had she tried to lie about it and it was found out later that this guy stayed at her house, I'd have some serious worries.
