The warmth is caused by inflammation of muscle tissues. There are generally two causes for inflammation - virus or bacteria. The inflammation and temperature is a good indication that your body is functioning properly and trying to fight off the foreign object.
If there is an opening in your skin, then you want to make sure it is kept clean until it is healed.
If the situation doesn't change in 3-5 days, you should consult a doctor.

It is probably cellulitis. It could be a boil. At any rate, it is an infection of some kind, and you will need to see a doctor and get antibiotics. It could spread to your whole body and make you very sick.
I get claims quite often from people who have the same thing. They think it might be a bug bite, but don't remember being bitten. Sometimes, it is a minor infection that gets under the skin and keeps getting worse.
You need medicine.

The body usually produces a lot more heat than it needs to function, and it has to get rid of the excess. The best way to get rid of excess body heat is by sweating, which leads to evaporation of sweat, which consumes energy when the water is transformed to vapor. But when the ambient temperature rises, this process is less efficient, especially if the humidity is high.

could be allergy to clothes, anything from a few minutes or hour before
could be immune system disorders such as MS (not to alarm you).
could be nerves or anxiety
could be where your legs were crossed!
most likely it's nothing.
