Get scared to have kids! jesus cristos!!

All parents ever seem to do is grip,
It's quite distressing, I dont know if I want kids.
Although, to be honest with you, I never knew if I did anyway.
And marriage in general seems to be a boat load of crap anyway.

yes parents, its hard having kids, it
gets harder every decade, but do any of you actually enjoy your jobs?

oh wait, I forgot,
half of you shouldn't even be parents anyway.
not as many people as we think should do it.

I think everyone asks advice because parenting is very hard!!!! I don't think strangers would care if I told them how many times my 2 year old hugged me today, or how cute she sounds when she is having a conversation with herself. Those are the things we can't get enough of. The things that make it worth it. I could also go on and on about how good my 12 year old is at football or lacross, or how truley handsome I think he is, but I think I would get more responses if I asked what to do about his attitude!
Having kids is not for everyone, but anyone who has one would not go back for a second! (except maybe to have a peacefull bath!)

If you don't know if you want kids, then don't do it. You'll be one of the parents you are judging. It's the hardest job in the world, and if you aren't full-tilt committed to it before you do it, the road will be even longer and harder.

And to echo another's point -- parents come here for help and advice on problems they are having, which is why you seem to think all we do is gripe. Why would I need to ask a question on something that isn't a problem?

Yes, I love my job as a parent. You, not having kids, cannot even fathom how difficult yet how rewarding it can be. So zip it.

i am a mom of 3 childern and i enjoy having them even throu one as chose to go live with my mom, yes having kids is a full time job and takes a lot of work love and time but once they are grown and have lives of their own you look back and see that you did your best to raise them right and show them that they are loved and can always come home again if the need ever comes. i'm not going to say that i never grip about my kids but what parent doesnt all kids do things to get on their parents nevres thats what kids do but if you are a true parent you learn to deal it with and find ways to. and i agree that some people out there shouldnt have kids.

Wow, that's harsh! I don't think parents on here gripe, they just come here to find answers to some difficulties they're having with their kids. You say it's hard having kids, no disrespect here, but what would you know?? You don't have them! No one can ever prepare you for how hard being a parent is, when you do finally have kids yourself I think the penny might drop for you.

Who are you to judge who should and shouldn't be parents anyway? Yes there are bad parents out there that abuse and neglect their kids but I found most parents are just trying to do the best job they can.

And to answer your question do any of you actually enjoy your jobs? absolutely!! Motherhood is the most wonderful, rewarding yet exhausting job in the world.

Parenting is a daunting task as it involves total devotion, indulgence, care and attention. You have to be on guard as your child's behavior changes rapidly as he grows to different levels. When he goes to school he gets exposure and brings along a lot of questions that need to be answered in a responsible manner. He has to be taught how to face reality of life and handle tough situations with courage and honesty without hurting others. Much later in life when he grows up to be independent and gets married might he become indifferent to parents. But this is another matter that has to be taken with a pinch of salt.

Having kids is hard, being married is hard, being a grown up is hard. If you don't want it, don't do it. I try never to do math.

Pretty strong opinion of yourself. I'm sure it's completely unfounded, though.
